if only

I was heart broken
in a silk dress
on a rainy day
with my hand out the car window
if only i could have seen ahead
but then again i don't regret
i miss, i ache
that day on the grass i wont forget
if only life was as pretty
as tv made it
if only i was as pretty
as i wished
if only
i didn't always say
"if only"
if only i didn't fall
into the lake water
fully clothed
only to be taken out
by the persons hand
who broke my heart

This is sad, but I seem to adore poems like them poems mimicking the emotions that we are sometimes conflicted with, if you speak from the heart then this is a truly amazing poem:) please read and comment on some of mine:)
