Can tears still flow
Long after eyes have crusted shut
Forever closed
Can a body still bleed
After being broken beyond repair
So many times before
Can a bone still break after being bent
To every angle
And protruding from the skin
Can the flesh still tear
After being stretch so tight
Over gaunt lifeless hands
Can a life still be lived
After being dead so long?
