I remember
being carefree
being a child
making mistakes.
but I’ve grown up!
All too fast it seems
and I’ve gone into this reality that everything that was once easy,
will not be.
And now,
another change,
the best one in fact.
A chance to be young,
to be free and make mistakes
yet, I still have the urge to be an adult.
I remember being a child.
I remember acting like a child.
I remember leaving them behind.
And now I’m left squandering in the darkness of my past for the leftover pieces
of the childhood
of my distant memory
