O Beautiful, you shine so bright
Like stars, a cold distant night
Reveal to me what I could have lost
But instead, I suffered, I stood and fought
So now, I stand on the edge of the world
A weeping woman, a hurried word
A cold blanket of faraway stars
A calming whirlwind of passing cars
Laying in a field of yellow
Calming voices, soft and mellow
Having you by my side
Makes me whole, makes me alive
A tender kiss, a caring hand
Hoping for a future immense and grand
