Basketball: In the Game
That rubbery touch...
Boos all around me!
The trickling sweat...
With a heart filled with passion
That winning attitude
I was completely at ease,
No worries in my head
With my head high,
I pull up and shoot...
With the defender in my face
I could feel the cold breeze go by my face
I just knew the shot was perfect
Swish! The ball goes through net
All I hear is boos and I just look up and smile at the crowd.
