Off The Deep End

Walking
until we reach the end of the world
moving forward
until there is no more length ahead to travel
not stoping
until it becomes impossible to keep going
then we fall
when the road ends the fall begins
high diving
off the deep end
until we land with a splash
in the white surf below
and we swim
until we can swim no longer
and let the current carry us
let it carry us home
and we begin again
the journey to the ends of the earth
as we circumnavigate our lives
until we find home
over and over again
until we fly
Off the deep end
