Once more
The cold winter months are so hard
The days slowly drag on and on
All I can think about are those
Warm summer days
The wind blowing through my hair
The roar of race cars as they fly by us
The days just drag on and on
Half a year of nothing
Just waiting
Longing to be at the race track
Longing to be there
Watching the cars fly by
Hoping someday I will be out there
With him
With them
Doing what we love
What I would love to do
Waiting for those long summer days to return
Once more
Waiting for the wind to blow through my hair
Once more
Waiting to go back there
Back to that circle, dirt race track
Once more
