Untitled.
Push, Pull, Gone.
A young woman fights the stares,
covers her ears.
Squatting against a wall,
she cracks.
She makes up her mind,
her life in Berne is finished.
She rushes to her house,
and she fills her suitcase.
Clothes and a photograph of her mother and father.
She keeps rushing, she cannot slow down.
She leaves in a blur. She’s gone.
The future is beckoning.
