The Message

Is it a limited silence
that strikes my mind?
Ever shielded from the time,
such truths that can't be denied.
I'm standing at a distance,
seeing the picture and lying.
It's lit into flames and dying
and in it's place a blank frame
of white smoke with only
a black square lining.
All words sound the same.
If the smoke does fade
will the white remain?
