Dancing Through Fire
She sets fire to the rain
 As the crow flies
 Chasing the nonexistent blessing
 Of the waxing blue moon
 Still wind blows
 And frigid desert flowers
 Bloom carrying long-lost memories
 Of pink tulle and stardust
 Led Zeppelin plays
 As seas dry and
 Clouds form and you
 Run down the painted highway
Falling for something all so beautiful
A promise of something larger than ourselves
And so she calls for the father
 Then spits away the bitterness
 As they are left
 Far too alone again
