Supernova; Star Suicide

November 12, 2011
Bright, sparkling, little star.
I am like you,so lost in the sky.
If i could only get to where you are,
I'd help you escape this great big lie.
Mysterious, motionless, little star.
Never moving, as if the sky was made of tar.
Ignore the wishes of the world beneath you.
Don't let them make you think they need you.
They only make wishes, for their own desires.
If they tell you that they care for you,
Trust ME, they're all liars.
They're always expecting you to twinkle,
Never wanting you to dim your light.
Your suppose to stay bright,
for all the world to watch at night.
They spend all night staring up at you,
Never thinking, that maybe, just maybe..
your tired of shining all the time.
You just wish to be invisible.
yet they think your invincible.
& look for you to grant every wish they make.
But how much more wishing can you take?
Next time someone makes a wish on you,
Stare down& make wishes on them too.
& watch as yours never come true.
Then ask them what they ever did for you?
& The whole world will fall completely silent.
SO, Just smile& fall down from your alignment.
Cut the strings that tie you to the sky,
and as the world watches you pass by,
they will think your just a shooting star.
Never knowing what you truly are.
That your really rescuing yourself.
Since no one else would ever help.
Your Abandoning them, as they have you.
Leaving them to make their own dreams come true.

This is a really amazing piece.  I write about simliar things so it definitely caught my eye. I think my favorite lines were "Ignore the wishes of the world beneath you.
Don't let them make you think they need you." Keep writing!
