I'm All Alone
I am alone, and yet there are people encircling me
I wonder what they are thinking
I hear their soft thoughts
I see the cold eyes of lifeless people
I want to be as far away as possible
I am alone, and yet there are people encircling me
I pretend the people care about me
I feel the emotionless touch of a dead rose
I touch the scars left behind
I worry about the unknown future
I cry making puddles at my feet
I am alone, and yet there are people encircling me
I understand all the secrets and why they are kept
I say things that others won’t
I dream of my fears, leaving them inside me
I try to scream, but it is muffled by the screams of others
I hope my freedom will come back, but for now
I am alone, and yet there are people encircling me
