Untamed Lunacy

"I'm so far gone now;
I've been running on empty"
These words describe me perfectly.
So empty-
Emotionless.
I feel like an object..
Inanimate.
Do you truly feel alive?
I don't..
I'm dead
Yet alive.
"A walking paradox."
There's nothing left inside.
My mind left me here to die.
The walls of myself close in on me.
Trapped..
My inner demons make their appearance
Like always..
Except this time...
This time's different;
They're after what little humanity
I have left.
As they close in;
I know that this is the end.
