Doing Okay
I'm dancing in the forest
I'm rolling in the field
But in their eyes I'm just a flaw
In this old machine they've built
Throw your disdain at me like arrows
Your disgust like heavy stones
You stick to your routines
And I'll keep dancing all alone
Cling to your truths like static
But don't you find it odd;
That the further I stray
From the given way
The closer I am
To doing okay?
Oh, the further I climb
From the given line
The closer I am
To doing just fine
