Forbidden Love
You tell me that you love me
Yet I don’t seem worth your time
You always pass right by my road
Don’t worry, I’ll be fine
The bed we used to share is rather lonely lately
My mind repeats things you said, I only hear them faintly
My heart is confused and stuck between
Your sweet side, and the one that quickly turns to mean
Things become so complicated
When I can’t see inside your head
I’m expected to know just how you feel
Left alone to determine what is real
I want it back to how it began
Before I over-thought and quickly ran
So tell me, your baby, what you feel inside
Let it all out, so we no longer have to hide
Let’s return to the nights where you were all I needed, and exactly what I had
You held me close for hours, took away all the bad
You kissed away my fears, and took away my pain
Living without you is slowly driving me insane
I guess all this nonsense is a stretched out way to say
I love you, in every single way
