An escaped puppet,
freed from strings,
kept sane by worlds from fantasies;
told where to stand,
what to say,
how to say it,
there's no way she's ever letting go
Not held in place by chains,
but she stays there all the same;
the sets
keep changing,
the lines
keep coming,
the lights
keep flashing,
the show must go on
