"The Monster Inside of Me"

My life is a nightmare.
Every minute of this dream causes me more pain,
And I yearn for the day I will wake up,
But in my heart I know I will never awaken,
For my chances of awakening have long past.
And now I fear the only monster left in this nightmare is myself.
I can only hope that one day I will conquer the monster inside of me and awaken from this nightmare.
