You Left Me

Somewhere beyond the dark depths of eternity,
You left me.
Hiding behind a mask of clouded expressions,
And the eerie silence of dusty rafters,
You left me.
Slipping away with a last shaky breath,
Returning to the glow of an immortal being,
You left me.
I scream your name,
Trying to follow,
Before you knew my love,
You left me.
Only if I had known you would leave me,
The moments I would have treasured,
The things I would have said,
Before you left me.
