Green eyes darkening
To almost black
The anger you feel
Is evident in
Your fake smile
You try to keep control
Around everyone laughing
Then you break
Running towards the laughter
Fists and blood flying
You lose it, fighting back
For everything you think
You deserve
The glass shatters
Then you realize
The adversary is
You

This poem packs a lot of emotion for how short it is! Great job on conveying your message. I have to admit that having really short lines makes a poem choppy to read, but I think in this case it kind of helps the flow by breaking it, if that makes any sense :P Could you check out my piece called 12 Color Haiku?
