How our world is.....

i never thought at times like these
when someone else is in need
that people would just pass you by
without not even a little hello or goodbye
you lend your time when people need it
but when it's you they give and leave it
you bow your head in silence you cry
why why are people so cruel
you give your all time
after time without a single
hate in your eyes
you hope and pray for just a little
thank you but you soon realize to
this day people would never change
their ways
I'm not looking for them to change
but all i want is a thank you in
exchange
why why are people so cruel
at times like these we would never know why
but all we have to do is try
and maybe once in our life's
The world would change before our eyes.....
