Tonight in Flames
Yelling, yelling, not quietly telling
Me to do something- anything to please you
Could you please lower your voice?
Booming, Booming, The world is moving
Taking a splintered club to my ear
Oh dear, now you’ve done it.
Making me regret knowing you.
Moving, moving, the ground is moving
Giving way- your voice is making it decay.
Screaming at me night and day
Your followers are missing you.
Snapping, Snapping, I’m finally reacting
Something I’ve always wanted to do
Now your face is turning blue,
Whats a girl to do?
Falling. Falling. Now your calling
Out for help.
But now, nobody can hear you scream
and yelp.
You’ve driven me to the brink of destruction.
Winning, winning, the room is spinning
Now that I’ve reacted
Diaphragm contracted,
Silently I snap,
Back to reality.
Yelling, yelling, not quietly telling
Me to do something- anything to please you..
