Response to “Six Million and One”
Every Girl
To be a stupid girl
Who spouted out nonsense
Until they shut her up
To be a rebellious girl
Who stood up for her rights
Until they put her down
To be a fearless girl
Who dove head first when danger came
Until they took her in
To be a trusting girl
Who gave and trusted everyone
Until they proved her wrong
To be a hopeful girl
Who never stopped believing
