Life Is an Ocean

Life is an ocean, a body of water
I sail my own ship, a faithful daughter
The waters will rise and alter my earth
But these trials and tribulations will show their worth
At the moments when the seas become still
I will relax my hands but never let go of the till
And embrace my new world with my well-earned strength
I will survive this journey, no matter its length
Though the waves can get rough and a boat they can tip
I have no fear, for I can sail my own ship
