Of Elements
Of water are my eyes
Of earth my heart and mind
Of fire is my enemy
As air my words are defined.
My tears flow as a river
My soul sinks like a stone
The world inflicts my burns
Now I am all alone.
To speak my words are empty
The world just turns away
The river flows so endlessly
But yet, I still pray.
I pray for a day
When tears won't flow.
For a day my heart is of air
And my soul is not stone.
When fire subsides
When words are alive
When I am alright
I pray for that day.
But for now I wait,
Of the elements,
Of a sad, sad state
As a day of darkness devours.
Of water are my eyes,
Of earth, my heart and mind,
Of fire is my enemy,
As air my words are defined
Forever.
