"God didn't take me from you, he only took my hand."

Careless winds rip through her heart
Blowing, ripping, tearing it apart.
She wonders through the barren trees
Spinning, searching, like a ship lost at sea.

I wonder what she will decide,
Will she quit, or will she survive?
It taunts, it haunts her deep inside.

Oh Look!
There she goes, onto yet another ride.

She stalls, she falls, and frantically crawls,
She yells,

She fell!
And despreately calls.

Wet leaves are pressed upon her cheecks.
Tears form in her eyes, but only one leaks.

She scratches her chest until it bleeds.
A miracle is what she needs.

She lays, and lays,
She stays, and stays,
Just long enough for
Her mind to decay.

She rises, then stands, to stumble away.
A naive young girl has not changed her ways.
