Without Fear

I'm staring at this vast void
Of despairing darkness.
The Shadows are everywhere,
And I'm so afraid.
Where is the Light?
Will it save me?
I cannot see it.
I don't think it's there.
I look to my side,
And I see it.
The Light is here.
It fills me with warmth.
It's a blinding burst
Of Sun in the Night.
I reach out to it,
And it's strength flows into me.
I know I'm safe with it here.
I can travel through
The Shadows now,
With no fear.
