Fire-bright bangs attempt to shield brilliant green eyes from a world unknown to our very own heroine. Forming a wall to prevent her from seeing deadly fears with spiked horns, whip-like tails, scales that reflect surrounding colors, and fangs long enough to pierce through a human abdomen. Not knowing the too-close reality, making her a different youth than she truly is. Clarissa Fairchild/Clary Fray: Daughter. Sister. Shadowhunter.

The author's comments:
i wrote this for a class about a book that i have recently read. it is inspired by cassandra clare's city of ashes, book two of the mortal instruments series.
