Why'd you have to die

Why'd you have to go And leave me here to weep.I cried over you, over your departure. I cried over your casket as you left to to touch the face of god. Why, why'd you have to die, and leave us here to weep for you. They say in time everyone must pass away maybe in time you'll come back someday. I just hope then I'm strong enough to never let go and to never loose you again

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece in memory of my grandfather right after he passed away of a heart attack. May he rest in peace.
