Favorite Quote:
"Everybody dies, but not everybody lives."

They call me queen nerd,
Because of what they see.
Not actually of whats underneath my skin,
And what’s inside me.

With my head hung low,
And books clenched tight.
I walk through the halls alone,
Unseen like ultraviolet light.

Nerd, geek, teachers pet,
They don’t think it hurts.
Harmless words they are to them,
Yet are bullets ripping through my shirts.

Like so many others
I’m athletic, and nice.
Willing to be free,
Troubled when breaking the ice.

At times I’m precarious,
Though at others I’m calm.
I like to have fun with friends,
Even enjoy planting a few stink bombs.

Lonely and reticent is how I’m described,
Given no chance to express my being.
Stereotypes is all they have on me,
But how can they look without really seeing?

My physical features act as my costume,
Under my glasses lay heart breaking blue eyes,
Often overlooked by many.
With few seeing past my disguise.

Besides the looks and beyond the books,
Is where you’ll find me at.
Upon a brick dust diamond,
Wearing my favorite baseball hat.

Theres more than what meets the eye,
Believe it or not.
Even if I’m not popular or stylish,
You’ll never know that you’ll like me a lot.
