The eternal sadness that seems to stay
The pain inside me that never ceases
I wish I could wish it all away

I wish I could wish it away
Tormenting pounds it seems to lay
The steps that sound a little bit louder
I wish I could wish it all away

I wish I could wish it away
Happiness seems to have wondered astray
Joy a husk of hallowed hope
I wish I could wish it all away

I wish I could wish myself away
Teddy bear picnics, and everlasting play

So every day I whisper to myself and say
I wish I could wish it all away

I like this! :) It's short and sweet but it says a lot, especially the 2nd to last stanza.
