The Seed
I am a seed
Growing into a green sprout
Until one day, growing my first leaf
Then more will appear, millions at a time
My trunk will get thicker and thicker
Growing older one ring at a time
Birds will chirp and bees will buzz
People come and people will go
Standing strong through the wind and the snow
When one day I will pass away
No one will notice though
No one will notice that I supported homes
That I fed the hungry
That I provided oxygen for the world
For now I am only a seed
That is what I started as and that is how I will end as
A seed
