fireworks
We were sitting in his car,
It was the fourth of July.
Fireworks bursted in the sky,
The way my heart felt in that moment.
You pulled me in close,
And kissed my cheek.
Your lips found mine.
You pulled me in closer.
Pressing our lips together.
Your tongue snuck its way between my lips,
And we got lost in each other.
Well, we were in your car watching fireworks,
But my heart wasn’t exactly bursting with them.
You pulling me close felt more like a bear hug.
You shoved your face into mine,
And in the process of you “sneaking”
Your tongue between my lips
You basically licked my face.
Maybe you were lost
But I knew what I was doing.
