A Horse's Hoofbeat . . .
When I look into their eyes,
I melt.
They strike me as innocent and majestic.
They prance and play like kittens with yarn.
When I ride them,
all I feel . . . is free.
Their never- breaking stride,
takes me away from my fears.
Going on for forever,
never taking a faltering step.
Running wild and free,
they are ever so powerful.
Nobody dares to mess with them, because no one can catch them . . .
but me.
Horses and I have a special connection,
one that can never be broken.
Nothing can pull us apart . . .
no one, no thing, ever.
