When I look into their eyes,

I melt.

They strike me as innocent and majestic.
They prance and play like kittens with yarn.

When I ride them,

all I feel . . . is free.
Their never- breaking stride,

takes me away from my fears.

Going on for forever,

never taking a faltering step.
Running wild and free,

they are ever so powerful.

Nobody dares to mess with them, because no one can catch them . . .

but me.
Horses and I have a special connection,

one that can never be broken.

Nothing can pull us apart . . .

no one, no thing, ever.

The author's comments:
Horses are my life, my passion, no one can take that away from me. They taught me how to love with all my heart . . . and never give up when I fail.
