Darkness
Wandering through my mind,
Want to be in a place,
Where darkness has dispelled all light,
Away from the human race
Cold silent breeze do pass,
Shivering and cold dead of night,
Silence will envelope all around,
Blissful loneliness is my plight
I wish to turn the moon off,
Which has spilled rays everywhere,
So that my shadow won’t follow me,
To my mirth and despair.
Away from all eyes,
Far from all the sounds,
Into this peaceful nothingness,
Maze of right and wrong.
Inside the woods and meadows,
Breaking the shackles of life,
Walking into my free world,
Where I am no friend of knife.
For no matter how the day begun,
No matter how the evening will be,
At the end of the day,
I am only with me.......
