“Writing is a form of personal freedom. It frees us from the mass identity we see in the making all around us. In the end, writers will write not to be outlaw heroes of some underculture but mainly to save themselves, to survive as individuals.”

I'm so lucky
To have all my friends surround me
Help me through this pain
Even though they told me it would happen.

They hug me
Assure me you weren't worth it
Make sure I know I'm not alone
Make sure that I don't cry.

I have all I could ever need
To help me get over you.
But if you ever feel this pain
You'll have nothing and no one.

Every friend you have is fake
Knowing you for only your lies
So when your lies come down and you're hurt
No one will be there

Forever in loneliness, you'll stay

This piece is about my friends helping me get through a rough time with a guy who lied to me and lies to everyone. I know he won't have anyone to help him through his pain when they find out how many lies he tells them. I love my friends who helped me through this, MPB, LMS, EML, LAB, and CEB
