light and dark

These days go by, like a cold shiver down my spine
the tear drops are rain drops
a storm close by
The screaming, the shouting
its the thunder you hear
The yelping, the pleading
its the lightning you see
The shades of the clouds, darken the skies
There hiding the sun
Pushing happiness aside
The rays shine through
but only vaguely
theres some kind of warmth
but it doesn't feel true
The night time falls
Now there is no sun
but the moon glows between the dark clouds
watching me
watching you
