Counting Stars(I love you)

As we lay under a tree,counting the stars in the sky
Wondering how they got so high
You simply whisper in my ear
Whispered 3 words crystal clear
“I love you”
I replied “I love you too.”
We continue counting stars
Saying to myself “This love is ours.”
Now I’m at home
All by myself, I am alone
Then I get a text from you
I smile then replied “I love you too.”
Oh, how I wish the night never ended
Because being around you was so splendid
This was the first night you told me you loved me
Counting stars under the blossom tree.
