Once performed, deed done; none will retract
Recantation: an ideality of the mind
Oh, how I long moments before the fact
Misjudgment is beating, unkind
If only reverse progression can act
Sparing this misery of mine
What to do? How to take back?
To only suffer I bind.

I said something to one of my friends that I should not have. I feel ashamed. Although my friend has immediately forgiven me, I still bear that mental reminder of my misjudgment.
