I woke up this morning, a disheveled look on my face
My hair is sticking up, it could reach space.
The makeup under my eyes, it’s looking very scary
And is that a zit I see? Or is it just a cherry?
Is my nose usually this huge? I think it is the lighting.
Well, the size it is right now, it’s certainly not exciting.
My ears are looking rather large, or is it just the mirror?
I doubt it is because, lately, nothing has looked clearer.
Oh, Monday mornings, what have you done to me?
My vision’s going blurry so I can’t really see.
I hope when people look at me, they don’t end up screaming.
Maybe I should return to bed, and hope that I’m just dreaming.
