She sits in the front of the bus
Awkward in her seat
Her area smells like unwashed clothes and body odor
I notice the cumbersome cart as it sits steady against the boundary
I notice her eyes, the window to her murky mind
I smile
However, I’m quickly discarded by a gloomy face
Speaking the unspoken thoughts of a homeless women
