My Friend
My friend would not give me gum,
And he treated me like a bum.
He didn’t like to share;
I’m wondering if he even cares?
He even calls me names!
I don’t like his evil games .
These two guys have been friends
Since the first day, until the end ,
But now they are fighting with each other
Even though they were close like brothers.
Through the winter and the cold
The girls thought they were very bold.
Then one day out of the blue
He gave me a big clue
That we were brothers no more.
That day I grew very sore
The pain of losing a great friend is intense
It feels like your sitting on a barbwire fence
For that very day I will never forgive
My poor friend for as long as I live
But after a few days I forgot
All of the pain that my friend has brought
Now we are brothers once again
We will be friends until the end

My friend inspired me to write this poem while in school.
