People make mistakes sometimes,
As I'm sure you know.
But, this time I can tell I messed up bad
As my future will soon show.
You warned me that this day would come
And dammit, here it is.
Everyone will surely think
It's no one's fault but his.
Well here I am in all my glory,
The failure of the year,
Laying in a cold bed, pillow
drenched in my own tears.
They taste of defeat, of knowing nothing
My entire life I've run
Away from problems that scare me,
but I can't escape this one.
I hope you day I'll make it right
So I can scream so loud,
Finally, Mom and Dad
Your son has made you proud.

I wrote this when I was very sad. I don't remember exactly what happened that night because I've suppressed it, but for those who feel the same way as me, feel free to use this, quote it, copy it, whatever you like.
