Becoming the Ocean
I stepped into to the quite ocean.
My legs suddenly froze.
I felt the waves pushing me back to shore,
as if they didn’t want me there.
The sun came out to greet me in the cold water.
Its pink color brought a smile to my face.
My body slowly steels away its warmth.
The air smells salty, but in that good way,
if thats even possible.
I face the shore,
still feeling the waves massage my back.
Slowly I find myself floating on top of the water.
I become part of the ocean.
