The Ipod

The Ipod so lustrous and smooth
sitting in its case just waiting to be used
its silver armor and mysterious screen
reflecting what it sees back to me
the buttons
so rubber and soft
melt into my grasp
I turn it on
light illuminating the screen
closing my eyes they adjust to the light
now open
they show me what awaits in my hand
and yet I still wonder what might come next
in this fast moving world
of technology
