Jacques Cartier
Sailing far away, leaving his hometown of France, Jacques Cartier led a phenomenal trip.
He investigated Canada’s coast.
Explored the St. Lawrence River that stretches for as far as the eye can see.
Flying across the Atlantic in a flaming twenty days, his ship acted relentless.
Negotiating with the Iroquois, he obtained vitamin C that saved his own life.
His destiny now could breathe for he lived his life on.
He had received fame by declaring Canada’s much known name.
Succeeding, his name traveled tentatively through time to this very day.
Other explorations happened, all had the same results.
His adventure, becoming one of the many rocket ships exploring the new world.
