I watched the shadow from a far
Watching the healing of the scar
I watched you suffer from pain and burn
A hole was dug in return

It seems like yesterday you awoke breathless
Always talked about being restless

I wept softly as I watched you slept.

Best part is not knowing some may say
I glad I got to see your smile everyday
I miss your laughter and your gentle touch
I guess for you life was too much
