As you were talking you caught my eye
Your eyes were beautiful and loving
We weren’t alone
But felt as if we were
When you smiled
I felt my heart leap
Until I saw you
My heart was lost
We felt we belonged together
But new it would never work
My soul has been pining for his
And it does not know how to let go yet
But I am sure if we tried
You could lift my spirit
As if I was in a constant dream
Just thinking of you could bring
My mind to a perfect thought
As if I was in your arms
This very moment
