Freedom By Lava
Deep down, in the depths of a volcano,
A volcano steaming hot,
As it erupts cinders burst from its vent.
Dark clouds of smoke rise from its crater
As I see the explosions,
I know I must go,
I must run,
Hurry,
Luckily I am a widow with no child to hold me back
Anxious I stumble out the door.
liquid lava run quickly down a slope
chasing me
devouring all in its way
I inhale the poison air
Fall
Without hesitation the fluid surrounds my pale body
Slowly dissolving my limbs
Engulfing every part of me.
I die.
My soul rising within the cinders
Floating away into the gray and cloomy sky with the steam
No longer trapped within a heart.
Floating with freedom.
