Destruction
It's easy
To throw a punch
Say a word
Spread a lie
You don't even have to think.
Building is hard
You have to be careful
Say the right things
Not too fast
Not too slow
Calm, silent,
Watch me grow
I'll be so much more
Someday.
But that's only
If I can outlast
The pain.
It's so much easier
To break my spirit
Than to build me up.
