Beach
Every time I see you, I try to look away
But all that I’ve been waiting for has come down to this day
I’ve lived without you for so long, there’s no way to turn back
So
While I’m walking on the beach, down an aisle made of sand
Look deep into my eyes, and imagine us hand in hand
We both want this to be true, we both know how this will end
As you’re standing in the sand, getting ready to say “I do”
I’ll look into your eyes, and wish that this were true
The truth that’s hard to bear is the only one that’s real
This was just a dream, a simple fantasy
You died so many years ago, and I never got to say
How much I love you, and how I want to marry you someday
